Our Story

Jamie Rhew, a native of Fayetteville, NC, made the difficult decision to leave high school to support his family and pursue his dream of owning a business. At just 19, he laid the foundation for what would become Bluewater Plumbing Heating & Air. Originally serving the Fayetteville area, Jamie moved his family and business to Wilmington, NC, in 2010 to be closer to the ocean.

For the past 13 years in Wilmington, Bluewater Plumbing Heating & Air has remained a family-operated company. Our team has grown to more than 20 employees, including Jamie’s brother, sister-in-law, son, nephew, and daughters. In 2020, we expanded with a second location in Myrtle Beach, SC, extending our services along the Carolina coast. Today, we handle everything from residential and commercial projects to new construction.

Outside of work, Jamie follows his lifelong passion for flying—a tradition passed down from his father. He also cherishes time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who bring him immense joy and hold a special place in his heart.
